Sleeps 12

Chalet Narnia is an extremely stylish and sophisticated chalet, combining a traditional Tyrolean exterior with modern design features and absolute comfort, for up to 12 guests.

Conveniently located; it's around 10 minutes walk to the resort centre, or the ski bus stops close by. Alternatively, you can stop at the legendary apres-ski bars, the Krazy Kangaruh or Mooserwirt, and it's just over 5 minute's walk on a local footpath back to the chalet.

Situtated in a tranquil location, opposite woodlands known locally as Narnia, the chalet is spread over four floors with six well appointed bedrooms; each offering plenty of storage space, flat-screen tv and dvd player, and ensuite facilities.

On the ground floor you will find the spacious, open-plan living and dining room. Plenty of comfy seating invites you to sit back and relax, perhaps curl up with a book by the woodburner, take in a movie or two on the home cinema system, or simply enjoy the views over to Rendle until dinner is served.

The fantastic wellness area on the garden floor must be taken advantage of. It offers a Sonarium (has both a sauna and separate steam room function), shower room and, best of all, access to the spacious terrace with outdoor jacuzzi spa; an amazing place to relax and feel the strain of an exciting ski day ebb away!

Catering

Good quality ingredients and imaginative menus are the basis for our chalet cuisine. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily but on the chalet staff day off, there is no evening meal, leaving you free to sample one of the local restaurants.

Breakfast: - a buffet selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked local bread and jams accompanied by fruit juices, tea and coffee. In addition there is a daily cooked option such as scrambled egg and tomato (not a full English!) served each day apart from the chalet staff day off and changeover day. For the traditional skiers amongst you we can of course offer porridge on request!

Afternoon Tea: - discuss the day's skiing with your fellow guests whilst helping yourself to afternoon tea. Bread and jam and a slice (or two) of delicious home-made cake or biscuits should help keep hunger pangs at bay until dinner time.

Dinner: - Just imagine a casual dinner party with friends, now imagine that minus the stress of shopping, cooking, clearing up, ordering taxis, organising babysitters...... well now you can! Relax, your evening starts around 7.30pm swapping some ski tales and banter over canapés and aperitif followed by a delicious freshly cooked dinner with unlimited house wine until coffee to finish. (Please remember that canapés and aperitif are not served in the Chalet Hotel Chamois D'Or).

Wine: - we serve a house red and white wine; a small wine list is available in your chalet should you wish to purchase additional wines or you can of course choose to purchase your own wines in resort.

Children's Supper: - we provide a child friendly supper at around 6pm for all children under 12 years, if you have sole use of the chalet and you would prefer your children to eat a normal dinner with you at 8pm there is a £50 upgrade. For those in a shared chalet it is generally expected that under 12s would have the early supper.

The Chalet staff always aim to please and as much as possible will adapt their menus to your specific tastes and dietary requests however we cannot provide vegan, kosher or gluten-free meals and cannot guarantee a nut free environment.
