St Anton am Arlberg is at the centre of the huge Arlberg Ski-Circus, and is firmly established as one of Europe's top ski resorts. The ski area is simply vast; covering not only St. Anton's own mountains, but also the neighbouring villages of St. Christoph, Zürs and Lech and offers some of Austria's most extensive and most challenging skiing. It takes approximately half an hour to cross over to the Lech and Zurs area on the bus and is highly recommended.
The cosmopolitan atmosphere of this famous village also ensures plenty of activities off the piste for everyone with a multitude of lively bars, excellent restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities!

Apres Ski in St Anton
St Anton is known for its vibrant après ski. It starts around lunchtime and by 4.00pm is sure to be in full swing. The first port of call is either the Krazy Kanguruh or Mooserwirt, located a short way up the piste from the main town of St Anton - so beware a short ski down to town is required when the bars on piste close at 8.00pm in the dark.
Down in St Anton town centre the Après Ski continues in various bars such as Scottie's & The Underground. For those still wishing to party on through to the early hours of the morning the Piccadilly Bar, Kandahar and Bar Cuba are for you.
Despite the energetic Après Ski, the resort still retains its traditional charm. For those of you looking for a more sophisticated Après Ski there are plenty of quiet bars and good quality restaurants to choose from such as the Sport Hotel Bar & Restaurant or the Ben. Venuto located at the Arlberg-well centre.
From a party night to a quiet apres ski drink or a quality meal, we've selected our favourite places to go (below) and have divided them into two sections: bars and restaurants. Enjoy!
Mooserwirt
Telephone:+43 5446 3588

If dancing in your ski boots to Austrian Euro beats whilst holding a stein of lager in one hand and a Jager-Bomb in the other sounds like your ideal way to finish an action-packed day on the slopes then look no further than the Mooserwirt. Fun kicks off between 2-3pm and should end about 6-7pm, but has been known to continue much longer than this. More beer is consumed here than anywhere else in Austria and it is, by far, St Anton - if not Austrias most well-known and visited aprés ski bars. It is a must see for any visitors coming to St Anton as the atmosphere you will experience is like no other. Be wary if strapping on your skis after downing a few, as closing time is right about when the piste-bashers head out to work!!
Krazy Kanguruh
Telephone:+43 5446 2633
Email: krazy.kanguruh@st-anton.at
Website: click here
The infamous Krazy Kanguruh is generally one of the first stops after a day on the slopes. This Apres bar has recently been taken over by the local hero/racer Mario Mutt who has sustained KK's reputation as one of the 'wildest bars in town'. Dancing on tables to shotting tequila from the tequila slammer girls are only a few of the ultimate attractions to this piste located bar. Live bands and constant classic tunes, along with constant delicious trays of Flugels at hand only causes the 7pm ski home to come TOO quickly!
Kandahar
Telephone:+43(0)544630260
Email:info@kandaharbar.com
Website: click here
With a collaboration of international cuisines and an eclectic mix of music varieties accompanied by a smooth candle-lit ambiance, the dining experience in the Kandahar is quite something. The restaurant is open for bookings from 6-11pm every night. Fast forward a few hours to where the venue converts into a lovely bar/nightclub open till 4am. This is St Anton’s number one destination for dance music. Specialising in funky, happy house music. International DJ’s from London to Ibiza and beyond come to play here, keeping a fresh and up-to-date atmosphere which is enjoyed season after season… Located in the town centre next to the Sport Hotel and opposite the Post Hotel.
Scottys - St, Anton
Scotty’s bar is just off the main pedestrian area of St Anton. It is great for après ski, but most popular in the evenings where many wild nights begin. Scotty’s is a prominent bar and is particularly loved by the young groups of St Anton. The drinks are relatively cheap (for St Anton) and the vibrant, legendary bar is definitely a ‘must visit’ attraction for St Anton’s nightlife.Try the "green beer",
