From opulent 6 star luxury to the more cheap and cheerful end of the accommodation spectrum, St Anton is a resort with an absolute wealth of varied accommodation options to consider. From the largely ski in/out Oberdorf end of the resort, down through St Anton centre and its many amenities and over towards the peaceful and tranquil Nasserein sector, this is a resort with a great deal to offer. Here’s a line up of the properties we think excel for different groups’ requirements.
Chalet: Pepi Gabl
For those with young children looking for hassle free ski access within easy reach of ski school or nursery, the chalet Pepi Gabl is a wonderful accommodation option. It’s a large chalet-hotel, giving guests the choice between mingling with others or keeping to themselves. You can be at the Nasserein gondola within seconds from your front door and the nursery is located directly opposite the front door. The property offers plenty of family rooms making it ideal for groups of just about any size. There is also a wellness facility for anyone over the age of 13 years, which is a great place to relax in after a hard day’s skiing.
St Anton is one of the most sought-after resorts in Europe for large groups of skiers. For large groups in need of convenient location and easy access to both the village centre and the lifts and slopes, chalet Pia is a great option. This is a basic, functional chalet with few bells and whistles, but it gets the job done nicely. Sleeping up to 39 people in a selection of twins, doubles and triples, the Pia offers excellent rooming flexibility perfect for mixed groups. Located only a 250m walk from the main pedestrian zone of St Anton and within easy reach of the Galzig and Gampen lifts, the Pia is the ultimate group’s chalet in St Anton.
Location Location Location
Located on the high street right in the heart of the action, the Seeberger is undeniably the best located chalet we have to offer in St Anton! Beautifully refurbished in a very traditional yet funky fashion, the chalet Seeberger offers optimal comfort with good-sized rooms all boasting their own private facilities. Access to the Galzig gondola and the varied bars, restaurants and amenities of St Anton town centre simply could not be more convenient.
Value for money
Chalet Midland accommodates 16 people comfortably, and boasts wonderfully convenient ski and town centre access at a price which won’t break the bank – the value for money is brilliant. All rooms offer en suite facilities and the location is great too, with town centre just 130m walk from your door. The main Galzig and Gampen gondolas are just a little further on from this. Skiers looking for value for money, great location and a comfortable chalet need look no further than Chalet Midland.
Ski in and out
Chalets Moos A + B (Chalet A sleeps 12, Chalet B sleeps 10-11)
Combined sleeps: 22-23
St Anton sits at the bottom of a valley, with the home pistes running down into town. As such, it’s fairly uncommon to find many ski in/out properties here. Chalets Moos A + B, however, are just that – 100% ski in/out. Located just above the village on the side of the Galzig home piste, chalets Moos A+B are wonderfully located for hassle free ski access. Built and furnished in a very traditionally Austrian fashion, these two chalets offer a home away from home, and are popular accommodation options in this iconic resort.
