The Beach Boys are back, and they’re shouting it from the mountain tops this coming season by performing at the ever-popular Top of the Mountain gig in the Austrian resort of Ischgl.
This beautiful alpine village offers some of the best skiing in Austria. It also boasts an efficient, high-altitude lift system and some stunning scenery, making it a popular spot among ski and snowboard fans from all over.
The Top of the Mountain event is held twice a year to mark the launch and close of Ischgl’s winter ski season. The Beach Boys have been confirmed as headliners at this year’s launch gig, with previous headline acts including Elton John, Robbie Williams, Katy Perry and Mariah Carey.

It’s estimated that there will be around 20,000 snow and music fanatics at the gig, which will see The Beach Boys swap Surfin’ the USA for skiing in Tirol.
Kicking off the winter ski season with a trip down memory lane for many, the Californian rockers promise to play all their old classics, including Fun, Fun, Fun, Wouldn’t It Be Nice and I Get Around.
Ischgl will be the first European stop on the band’s latest tour. They’ll then head over to Luxembourg and Germany to continue the Good Vibrations...
The Beach Boys will play the Top of the Mountain gig on 28th November 2015. Entry to the event is free with an Ischgl lift pass.
